Paintings
A painting can be
a watercolor, or an oil based media
or an acrylic. It can be painted on a variety of materials.
Canvas generally comes to mind first but Michelangelo used a
ceiling. Indians and actors and today's ladies paint their
faces. The possibilities are limitless. And if there's a
painting that you like but someone else got the original
first, you can usually find it in a print or a poster.
Please enjoy the ones we have collected below.

Haitian Oil Paintings |
Masters such as Picasso, Goya, Rembrandt and others
throughout the ages have painted in oil. Jacques Saint-Surin, who is known
in his native Haiti as the "Ambassador" of Haitian Art, follows in the same

Pointillism Artist--Jay
Thomas II |
|

Jay Thomas II |
My works range from statuesque nudes to tranquil
outdoor scenes to surrealistic images. People ask me why I work in the pen &
ink pointillism style instead of traditional painting.
For one thing, there are not that many artist
utilizing this style of art, therefore it's easier to forge a niche for
yourself.
Secondly, I would like to expand the boundaries of
pen & ink pointillism, bringing it as close to traditional painting as
possible.
Pointillism is unique in itself and some very
beautiful and outstanding results come from this style of art. |
