How to Exhibit & Sell Your Art

Artists and private collectors are invited to exhibit and sell their art on the FolkArt.Com. You may sell retail and/or wholesale.

Latitude International Products operates and maintains the FolkArt.Com on the World Wide Web. Latitude believes that its marketing expertise and location on the internet can be an important outlet to promote your art. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Select the option that best fits your needs:

Option #1: Artist Needs Customer Contact

Artist has direct contact with customer; Latitude has no contact with customer.

How it works? Latitude International places art on the Internet. Artist's telephone number/address is listed on web pages. Customer places order directly with artist. Artist collects purchase price from customer. Artist ships art to customer. (FAQ)

 

Option #2: Artist Does Not Need Customer Contact

30% Commission
$50 Initial Set-Up
$150 Annual Fee

Artist has no direct contact with customer; Latitude has contact with customer.

How it works? Latitude International places art on the Internet. Latitude's telephone number/address is listed. Customer places orders with Latitude. Latitude collects purchase price from customer then pays the artist less 30% commission. Artist ships art to customer. (FAQ)

 

Option #3: Artist Affiliate Program  

30% Commission
$300 Initial Set-Up
$4,700 Annual Fee

The Affiliate Program allows an single person (or organization) to represent a large number of artists. Neither you or the individual artist have direct contact with customers; Latitude has contact with customer.

How it works? A single person (or single organization), known as the Affiliate, interacts with a large number of artists in their local area. The Affiliate provides all information about the art to Latitude International. Then Latitude International places art on the Internet. Latitude's telephone number/address is listed. Customer places orders with Latitude. Latitude collects purchase price from customer then pays the affiliate less 30% commission. The Affiliate arranges for the shipment of the art to the customer either by shipping the art themselves or by managing the shipping by the Artist. (FAQ)

 

Option #4: Small Individual Collector  

30% Commission
$30 Initial Set-Up
$Zero Annual Fee

Small individual collections will be exhibited at nominal cost. A 30% commission will be retained on any part of collection that is sold. Exhibit 2 to 3 pieces of art.

How it works? Latitude International places art on the Internet. Latitude's telephone number/address is listed. Customers place orders with Latitude. Latitude collects purchase price from customer; Latitude pays the collector less 30% commission. Collector ships art to customer. (FAQ)

 

Option #5: Significant Private Collector

30% Commission
$30 Initial Set-Up
$Zero Annual Fee

Significant Private Art collections will be exhibited at no cost. No obligation to offer art for sale. A 30% commission will be retained on any part of collection that is sold. [Note: the purpose of this option is not to avoid the nominal Set-up and Annual Fees but rather to bring very important art collections to the attention of the public.]

How it works? Latitude International places art on the Internet. Latitude's telephone number/address is listed. Customers place orders with Latitude. Latitude collects purchase price from customer; Latitude pays the collector less 30% commission. Collector ships art to customer. (FAQ)

 

Option #6: Non-Profit Organizations & Museums
