A DVD or video showing artesanos working in all aspects of pottery production: clay excavation, sifting, mixing, wedging, coiling, carving, decorating, firing, and sales. While each family uses age-old production techniques, their designs continue to evolve and remain fresh.

Traditional styles of green-glazed ware and blackware are also shown. Filmed in Atzompa and Coyotepec, two villages outside the city of Oaxaca. The music was recorded on the streets of Oaxaca.
