As usual, the depiction of waterfall streaming down from a river is simply a product of Jacques Saint-Surin’s vivid imagination. Bits of panoramic views often emanate from the Artist's most cherished memories to be condensed into one artistic unit on his canvas.
A good observer would be able to see three distinct scenes in this composition: one on each side of the painting and the waterfall in the middle.
